How to pray

the 54-day rosary novena.

We will pray the rosary for 54 consecutive days, without missing a single day. The Novena is divided into two parts: the first 27 days are prayed in petition, and the following 27 days are prayed in thanksgiving.

We are going to meditate on the traditional mysteries of the rosaries and this time we are including the luminous mysteries which were introduced in 2002 by Pope John Paul II.

The novena always starts with:

· The Joyful Mysteries on the first day, no matter which day of the week you begin.

· On the second day, you pray the Sorrowful Mysteries

· On the third day, you pray the Glorious Mysteries.

· And on the fourth day, you pray the Luminous Mysteries.

 After that, you repeat the cycle starting again with the Joyful Mysteries and continuing throughout the entire 54 days of the Novena. See chart below.
