S13 Day 18 - Sorrowful Mysteries in Petition
Hello family and welcome to day 18 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m grateful you’re here today.
Before we begin, I want to share something important. This season, we are looking for monthly sponsors who can help support our podcast with any amount they feel called to give.It costs about $6,000 to produce a full season, since we release 108 episodes in just 54 days. Your monthly support helps us sustain the podcast all year.
If you’ve been praying with us and this novena has blessed your life, please consider paying it forward by becoming a monthly donor at 54daysofroses.com. Your generosity truly helps us continue this mission.
This season, we continue praying for peace in the world,
and for freedom from addictions, for those struggling, for those in recovery, and for the families who walk this journey with love and patience. We’re also praying for the intentions you carry in your heart.
Today we reflect on what it means to carry our cross with Christ.
Every person has a cross, a struggle, a wound, or a situation that feels heavy. But Jesus never asks us to carry it alone.
He carries it with us.
Your cross may be addiction, anxiety, family stress, financial pressure, grief, or uncertainty. Whatever it is, God sees it. He is not asking you to be strong by yourself. He is asking you to lean on His strength.
When we unite our cross with Christ, the weight becomes a path to grace. We are not defeated by the burden, we are strengthened by the One who walks beside us.
Today our prayer is: Jesus, help me carry my cross with You. Give me strength when I feel weak, and hope when I feel discouraged. Mary, stay close to me through this journey.
If you are keeping up with your journal, take a moment to write this down today: What cross am I carrying right now,
and how can I invite Jesus to carry it with me today?
Let's get started.
