S13 Day 48 - Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving

Today we continue praying in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already working bringing peace to the world, freedom to those struggling with addictions, healing to those in recovery, and grace for the intentions of everyone praying with us.
Today we reflect on this truth: healing is lifelong. Sometimes we want healing to be quick and clean; one prayer, one retreat, one breakthrough, and everything is fixed. But real healing usually doesn’t look like that. It’s a journey, not a moment.
Some days feel strong and hopeful, and other days feel heavy, slow, or even like we’re going backwards. That doesn’t mean we’ve failed. It means we’re human, and still in process.
The good news is: God is not in a hurry with us. He walks with us step by step, through every layer, every season, every new beginning. Accepting that healing is lifelong doesn’t mean we give up. It means we stay close to God for the long run, trusting that He will finish the work He began in us.
Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me accept that healing is a journey, and stay close to You for every step of it.”
If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself where have I seen slow, steady healing in my life, and how can I stay patient with the process?
Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we thank God for every small step of healing, for every bit of progress, and for the grace to keep going when the journey feels long.
