S13 Day 9- Joyful Mysteries in Petition

Hello family, and welcome to Day 9 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so happy you’re here.

Today marks a special moment. We’ve completed our first novena in petition. Nine days of showing up, praying together, and trusting that God is already at work in our lives. Thank you for being part of this journey.

We have listeners praying with us from over 150 countries! Comment or send us a message telling us where you’re praying from. It’s amazing to see how Our Lady is bringing the world together through the Rosary.

This season, we continue praying for peace in the world, for those struggling with addictions, for those in recovery, for the families walking beside them with love and patience, and for the intentions you carry in your heart today.

Today’s reflection is about breaking denial and letting truth in.

Denial can feel safe. It’s that quiet voice that says, “Everything’s fine,” even when our hearts know it isn’t. It shields us from pain, but it also keeps us from healing. Truth, on the other hand, can be uncomfortable, but it’s where freedom begins.

When we invite truth in, we make space for grace to move. We see things as they are, and we let God meet us there, with love, not judgment. He doesn’t want to expose us; He wants to restore us. Mary, our gentle Mother, teaches us how to face truth without fear, to let the light of God’s love shine into the hidden places of our hearts.

So today, we pray for the courage to face the truth, not to shame ourselves, but to step closer to the healing that only comes from God.

Our prayer today is simple: Jesus, help me see the truth with love. Mary, give me the courage to let God’s light into every corner of my heart.

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself:  What truth is God inviting me to face today, and how can I let His love transform it into freedom?

Let us pray.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, we bring to you every heart learning to face the truth with faith and humility. Help us walk in the light of your Son, and teach us to trust that truth always leads to freedom.

We pray for peace in the world, for those battling addiction, for those in recovery, and for every person seeking healing through honesty and grace.

Today we pray especially for: Nadine, the souls of Sonny, Juanito, Virginia, Chester, and Ben, Kathleen, Tom, Judith, Michelle, Quanah, Laura, Joshua, Mauro, Carmen, Ana, Carlos, David, Carmen Noemi, Marlene, Briana, Olivia, Samir, Donna, Gina, Grace, the souls of Lupana and Samir, Clara, Florian, Gary, Annamaria, Lynn, Mireya, Gonzalo, David, Elias, Hermelinda, Angela, Caiti, Eoin, Angela G, Siobhain, Stephen, Melise, Beatrice, Katie, Fidel, Emmanuel K, Rosalia, Michael, the Family Perales, Lucero, the Family Dávila Rivas, and the Family Castro Rivas.

With love,
Maritza Mendez.
